From September 6 till September 30, 2021

Participants: students of Sumy national agrarian university (Ukraine)

  • Kulikov Dmytro, student of the faculty of agrotechnology and nature management, specialty - plant protection and quarantine
  • Prykhodko Mykhailo, student of the faculty of agrotechnology and nature management, specialty - biotechnology and bioengineering
  • Stashko Maksym, student of the faculty of agrotechnology and nature management, specialty - agronomy
  • Tereshchenko Ruslan, student of the faculty of agrotechnology and nature management, specialty forestry.

On the first day (07.09.2021) there was an acquaintance with Comrat State University, a meeting with the Vice-Rector for Science, Doctor, Associate Professor Rakovchena Tatiana and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Doctor, Associate Professor Kara Sergei.

The internship program consisted of both practical and theoretical classes. Thus, we listened to a lecture on the course "Theoretical foundations of conservation", which was given to us by Dr. Anatoliy

Kartashev (08.09.2021).

In this course we studied the scientific basis and classification of preservation methods

according to the principles of biosis and abiosis.

It was very interesting to visit the horse farm "At Prolin" in Chadyr-Lunga, the head of which is Mr. Kelesh Konstantin (09.09.2021).  For more than 26 years, the Kelesh family has been breeding thoroughbred horses of the world-famous Orel trotter breed. Today the farm has 70 horses, but they started with five animals! Also here are held annual equestrian competitions "Altin At" in honor of the holiday Hederlez. On the horse farm you can hear interesting stories from Mr. Kelesh, passionate about his work, ride quick as the wind, feed the horses sugar, their favorite delicacy, look at the graceful, beautiful trotters. Each horse has its own history, temperament, "appearance" and character. You can spend the whole day on a horse farm and you will not want to go from here.

At a lecture on biochemistry, which was conducted for us by Doctor of Chemistry, teacher Natalia Sukman, we studied the topic: monosaccharide derivatives and their biological role (10.09.2021).

We had a few lectures the following week. The first (13.09.2021) - a lecture on the course "Sensory analysis and technochemical control of food". It was conducted by Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor Victoria Adazhuk.

Our tasks were as follows:

1. To determine organoleptic quality indicators by descriptive method

2. To determine organoleptic quality indicators by the method of point scales

3. To determine the organoleptic quality indicators by the profile methodОрганолептический анализ повышает оперативность контроля качества продукции / Новости / Новости / ФГБУ "Белгородская МВЛ"

The next two lectures were "Conducting tests in the Agrochemical Laboratory" (14.09.2021) and lectures on the course of Biochemistry (15.09.2021) with a teacher, Doctor of Chemistry

Sukman Natalia

Thursday (16.09.2021) was devoted to work in the agrochemical laboratory (soil analysis) with doctor of veterinary sciences Mahamat Yamtitina. The purpose of this lesson was to acquaint students with the basic techniques and methods of laboratory analysis of soil samples.

On Friday (17.09. 2021) we visited the nursery of the Moldovan forestry "Yargora", the head of which is Victor Loginov.

The next week was no less interesting than the previous one.  On September 20, 2021, we attended a lecture on the course "Theoretical Foundations of Canning", conducted by Dr. Anatoliy Kartashev.

The topic was: The role of raw materials for processing fruits and vegetables in the food industry, its current state and prospects. Canned fruits and vegetables and products of processing of fruit and vegetable raw materials, their specific nutritional properties. History of canning production.

A lecture on general biochemistry took place on 21.09.2021. It was conducted by Dr. Natalia Sukman.22.09.2021. Also on this day we listened to a lecture on the course "Technochemical control of food production."

On September 23, 2021, a visit to the SANA dairy plant took place, where various technological operations were introduced.  The director of this enterprise is  Akbash Maria.

Dairy factory “SANA” “Fabrika Oloi Pak” SRL, founded in 2003, with the authorized capital of 1,500,000 lei. This enterprise was originally established as an enterprise for milk processing and milk production, taking into account the specifics of the southern region of the republic, where raw milk is of the highest quality. The company started production in January 2004, at which time partnerships have been established with milk suppliers and buyers of products.

The purpose of this visit was an in-depth study of technology, technology, production organization, technical control of production. It was also useful and interesting to get acquainted with the work of SANA, the history of its creation and development, the company's position in the relevant product market, product certification and quality assurance.

On Friday (24.09.2021) we were at practical classes on the course of Canning Technology, which were conducted for us by Dr. Anatoliy Kartashev.

Very interesting was the laboratory work on the course "Techno-chemical control of food production under the guidance of Dr. Sukman Natalia (27.09.2021). The topic of our lesson was: Qualitative reactions of proteins. The objective was: Get acquainted with the main most common color reactions to proteins and prove that they can detect similarities and differences in the amino acid composition of the studied proteins (egg albumin and gelatin).

28.09.2021 we took part in an information program about student mobility on the AgLab project on regional television NTS.md

It was very interesting to visit another university of Moldova - State Agrarian University in Chisinau (29 -30.09.2021)

Knowledge and materials (presentations, documents) received by students will be used in further education, namely a specialized course "Laboratory Practice"
